About The Headley-Whitney Museum of Art
One of just three art museums in the area, the Headley-Whitney Museum of Art has been devoted to enriching the lives of the whole community by fostering knowledge, enjoyment, and appreciation of the decorative and fine arts.
A charming museum located on the scenic Old Frankfort Pike corridor, The Headley-Whitney Museum of Art was founded in 1968 by jewelry designer, George Headley and his wife, Barbara Whitney. The Museum features fine art, jewelry, bibelots, dollhouses, a library, rose garden, and a shell house. The Museum offers rotating exhibits, a gift shop, events and educational workshops.
